Windsor Carrier (Optional Parts)
5,000 Windsor Carriers were produced in a single batch between 1944 and 1945. Although manufactured in Canada, most of the production run was shipped overseas to replace mechanical and combat losses in frontline units.
It was designed to tow trailers and light anti-tank guns, and was also lengthened noticeably, from the standard 144 inches overall of the Universal Carrier Mk.II* to 172 inches overall.
The addition of an extra bogie wheel gave the Windsor more stability than previous carriers. Roof bows and a tarp cover were also added to improve crew comfort, but these are rarely seen deployed in photographs of the period.
This kit comes with optional parts and stowage to allow either a No.4 or No.5 vehicle to be built (as pictured). Both were used to tow the 6pdr. anti-tank gun. However, all stowage is provided as separate parts making it easy to build other variants from the kit.

All Goods remain the property of Milicast Model Company until paid for in full. Goods may only be returned by prior arrangement at the recipients' expense. Delivery and insurance charges are non-refundable. Claims for damaged/missing items should be made within seven days of receipt.
Any products purchased 'second hand’, (without proof of direct Milicast Model Company supply, or supply from an Milicast Model Company approved dealer, shop or agent), or any products part assembled or part worked on in any way, are not covered by this returns policy. Under these circumstances no returns will be accepted, however we may quote for the supply of parts to restore the product to full inventory.
