Volkswagen Type 82 Kübelwagen
This iconic light utility vehicle was designed by Ferdinand Porsche and built by Volkswagen during for use by both the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS. It was based on the Volkswagen Beetle, but with a lower minimum speed and higher ground clearance for better cross-country mobility.
Production ran from February 1940 until the end of the war with 50,435 vehicles produced. During production, there were few enhancements with the exception of an engine upgrade. The original 985cc engine was replaced with a new 1,131cc engine in March 1943.
The Kübelwagen was very popular in all theatres due to its sturdy construction and reliability which made it a useful vehicle in the field.

Any products purchased 'second hand’, (without proof of direct Milicast Model Company supply, or supply from an Milicast Model Company approved dealer, shop or agent), or any products part assembled or part worked on in any way, are not covered by this returns policy. Under these circumstances no returns will be accepted, however we may quote for the supply of parts to restore the product to full inventory.
