Only three Sherman hull types were used for Firefly conversions with the letter C being added to signify the 17pdr. armament. These were the most widely used variant supplied to Britain; Sherman V (M4A4-see BB012), Sherman I Hybrid (M4 Hybrid - see BB011) and the Sherman I (M4-see BB063), the subject of this model. This vehicle is often captioned wrongly in books, often being mistaken for the Firefly IC (Hybrid) which with the Mk. V was widely used in NW Europe. Shown on our model is the replacement turned brass barrel with integral brass muzzle brake, available as BAR17M

Any products purchased 'second hand’, (without proof of direct Milicast Model Company supply, or supply from an Milicast Model Company approved dealer, shop or agent), or any products part assembled or part worked on in any way, are not covered by this returns policy. Under these circumstances no returns will be accepted, however we may quote for the supply of parts to restore the product to full inventory.
