  • 76.2mm M1936 Field Gun

The Soviet Union lost almost 50% of their field guns in the first six months of WWII. Amongst them were large numbers of this fine weapon which resulted in the Germans' adopting it as the FK296(r)(see G78) even mounting them on some of their Marders (see G77 & G225) and on the famous "Diana" halftracks (BG57) that fought in North Africa, even producing their own ammunition for them. In Soviet hands they first saw action in the Winter War against the Finns in 1939, remaining in service throughout the war.

  • M43 Anti-Tank Gun / M1943 ZIS 3 Field Gun (Optional Parts)

This kit contains optional parts allowing either the 57mm M43 Anti-Tank Gun or the 76.2mm M1943 ZIS 3 Field Gun to be built

Originally designed in 1941 as the M41, this long barrelled anti-tank gun was further improved when the new tubular trails (originally designed for the M42 ZIS 3 Dual gun) were used and entered service as the M43 in early 1943. The Germans took any reasonable captured ordnance into service and this piece became the 5.7cm Pak 208 (r). They remained in service with Soviet Bloc countries for many years after WWII.

A Soviet Field Gun Crew is available from our range of figures.
