Humber Super Snipe 8cwt FFW
Apologies for only having this one picture which definitely doesn't do the kit justice. More (and better) coming soon.
The Humber 8cwt 4x2 Personnel and Wireless Truck was derived from the civilian Super Snipe car that was in production prior to the war. This explains it's rather unusual looks, having a long bonnet and cab, and the relatively short body sticking out at the rear. Whilst not quite as capable as the purpose-built Heavy Utility, it was fitted with the same FFW (Fitted For Wireless) body which could be removed and used free-standing on legs which are normally folded on the sides of the body.
Notably, a picture of a Super Snipe FFW appears in Spike Milligan's war diaries. As a signaller in the Royal Artillery, he drove an FFW and operated the radio.
This 56-part kit includes a No.11 Wireless set and optional headlamps and tilt.
