Sherman V Crab
The Sherman Crab was 79th Armoured Division's prime mine clearance vehicle. Three regiments were deployed for the Normandy campaign. This highly detailed kit allows the vehicle to be built in its earliest form or with the lane clearing additions (as pictured), which were added as the campaign developed and clearance techniques refined.
This set has been carefully reproduced based on original drawings of the main flail type. Each flail may be easily bent to look natural. They may be made up to represent the tank flailing or in transit. The set has 108 individual chains - plenty for the Flail assembly plus some generous stowage.
Dan Taylor Modelworks produce a replacement set of etched brass flails and a decal sheet which includes the Crab (See Related Products below).

Any products purchased 'second hand’, (without proof of direct Milicast Model Company supply, or supply from an Milicast Model Company approved dealer, shop or agent), or any products part assembled or part worked on in any way, are not covered by this returns policy. Under these circumstances no returns will be accepted, however we may quote for the supply of parts to restore the product to full inventory.
