SdKfz 6/1 BN9 5 Ton Prime Mover Halftrack
The last model type of the 5ton Halftracks was the BN9 which was built between 1939 and 1943 when production was halted in favour of the SWS series. Our model represents the Prime Mover version used to tow the le. FH 18 105mm Howitzer and has optional tilt covers. Deployed on all fronts, a total of 3500 of all types were built throughout the war.

A total of 610 of the Demag D7 1-ton Halftracks were converted to carry either the 20mm FlaK30 or FlaK38. Ramps were carried on the front of the vehicles to allow the gun to be removed from the vehicle for ground mount firing, but this system was seldom employed in the latter years. Encountered on all fronts they were often used in the ground support role.
Our highly detailed model comes complete with an SdAh51 Ammunition Trailer. The kit also includes a Brass Fret with the mesh fold down sides.

A total of 610 of the Demag D7 one ton Halftracks (G133) were converted to carry either the 20mm FlaK30 (G178) or FlaK38 (G179). Ramps were carried on the front of the vehicles to allow the gun to be removed from the vehicle for ground mount firing but this system was seldom employed in the latter years. Encountered on all fronts they were often used in the ground support role. Later these vehicles had armoured protection for the drivers compartment and for the vulnerable radiator, and our highly detailed model comes complete with this optional armour and with the SdAh51 Ammunition Trailer. The kit also includes a Brass Fret with the mesh fold down sides. A Brass turned barrel designed especially for this Flak gun is available separately as BAR20 or BAR20S.

About 1000 of all types of SWS, armoured and unarmoured, were produced by Bussing NAG between December 1943 and March 1945.They saw service on all fronts from mid 1944. This version had the later 37mm FlaK43 mounted on the rear.Out of stockSWS Halftrack with UHU Infrared System
