Scammell Pioneer R100 Artillery Tractor
Development by Scammell of this Heavy Gun Tractor began in 1934 entering service in 1938 with 768 produced. Built to tow the 6" Howitzer until the arrival of the early AEC Matadors. They also towed the huge 7.2" Howitzer and remained in military service until the 1960's and in civilian use well into the 1980s. It was powered by 102bhp Gardner diesel engine and had an 8-ton winch with an overhead runway and 10cwt hoist to load and unload the ammunition. They first saw action with the BEF and later in Noth Africa, Sicily, Italy and in NW Europe.

Under these circumstances no returns will be accepted, however we may quote for the supply of parts to restore the product to full inventory.
