BA64B Armoured Car
The BA-64B, armed with the DT 7.62mm, nicknamed 'Bobik' by its crews, although lightly armoured and armed, they were very useful in the reconnaissance and liaison role. Used from 1942 unil the early sixties by the Russians, some are still in use wth the North Koreans.

The BA-64 was a 4×4 light armoured car, based on the Gaz "Jeep", used by the Soviet Army from 1942 into the early 1960s for reconnaissance and liaison tasks.
Nicknamed 'Bobik' by its crews, a total of around 9,000 BA64 & BA64B were built in the GAZ automobile plant, The Red Army accepted 8,174 BA-64s, including 3,390 with radio sets, into service with the remainder being supplied to the NKVD units and to Soviet allies, including Polish and Czech units, fighting with the Red Army .
