SdKfz 250/1 "Alte" Halftrack (Personnel version)
Introduced in 1941 this model represents the "Alte" or old version of this light halftrack series. A total of 4,250 were built between June 1941 and October 1943 when the "Neu" (new) version was put into production. Issued to Panzer grenadier divisions they saw action on all fronts.

These vehicles often had additional weapons fitted and this version is armed with the 28mm Schwere Panzerbüchse 41 (heavy anti-tank rifle 41). Out of stockThis variant carried an 8cm mortar and 42 rounds. Issued to the fourth platoon of each Leichter Panzer Aufklarungs Company, they gave fire support to the other platoons. SdKfz 250/1 "Alte" Halftrack with Hotchkiss SA 34
The "Alte" or old version of this light halftrack series was introduced in 1941. A total of 4,250 were built between June 1941 and October 1943 when the "Neu" (new) version was put into production. Issued to Panzer Grenadier divisions they saw action on all fronts.
The SdKfz 250/1 "Alte" often had heavier weapons added in order to give fire support. This variant has the addition of the French Hotchkiss SA 34 25mm Anti-Tank Gun which was available to the Germans in great numbers and given the designation 2,5 cm Pak 112(f) by the Wehrmacht. The photograph above is of a vehicle deployed by the DAK.

The kit includes both an MG30 & MG42.

Introduced in October 1943, with 2378 being built, it was used on every front. This model depicts the later, simplified "Neu" version of the 250 series introduced from October 1943.This variant has the Hängelafette Turret with 2cm Gun and 7.92 MG42. In this kit the meshed anti-grenade cage has been reproduced in resin but still retains the fine detail. A replacement brass barrel is available separately.

Our model depicts the famous "Diana"self-propelled halftrack. A total of 9 of these conversions were carried out in Germany and all of the vehicles sent to N.Africa in time to participate in the battle of Gazala of 1942 with Panzerjager Unit 605 in May/June 1942.

Our model depicts the SdKfz 10 Demag with light armour and mounting a 5cm PaK38 anti-tank gun. These conversions were used in Russia by the Waffen SS. The kit consists of only 10 parts including the hull with tracks, wheels, tilt cover, etc., all cast as a one piece casting.

Out of stockProduced by Demag, there was continuous production of this one ton halftrack between 1939 and 1944 with over 25,000 being built. Seeing service in every theatre as a light prime mover for amongst others the 37mm PaK36, 5cm PaK38, 75mm le IG18 Infantry Howitzer, 15cm & 21cm Nebelwerfers. This chassis was also the basis of several modified SPG mounts including the 20mm Flak and the 50mm Pak38 armoured version.
This model has the Tilt Cover moulded in the down position. See Related Products for a version with the tilt raised.

Produced by Demag, there was continuous production of this one ton halftrack between 1939 and 1944 with over 25,000 being built. Seeing service in every theatre as a light prime mover for amongst others the 37mm PaK36, 5cm PaK38, 75mm le IG18 Infantry Howitzer, 15cm & 21cm Nebelwerfers. This chassis was also the basis of several modified SPG mounts including the 20mm Flak and the 50mm Pak38 armoured version.
This model has the Tilt Cover moulded in the raised position. See Related Products for a version with the tilt lowered and folded.
