38cm RW61 "Sturmtiger" (Zimmerit)
Eighteen of these heavy assault vehicles were converted on Tiger I chassis between August and December 1944. It fired a rocket assisted 38cm mortar shell and the vents on the gun tube wall, designed to exhaust the propellant gases, are neatly reproduced on this fine model. Additional shells are also supplied with one even in the breech! Issued at the end of 1944, they were mainly used in the defence of the Germany on both fronts.
