  • SdKfz 234/1 Armoured Car with 2cm Hangelafette Turret

    This kit represents the 20mm variant of this Armoured Car fitted with the Hangelafette "swing mount" turret. This was the first variant built utilizing the new eight wheeled hull with 200 built from June 1944 outnumbered the more famous Puma variant. Both types saw action on both fronts.

  • SdKfz 234/2 "Puma" Armoured Car

    Only 101 of the SdKfz 234 Puma series were built between Sept.1943 and Sept.1944 going on to see service on both Fronts. The series included the 50mm "Puma", 2cm Hangelafette type, the rare 2cm KwK38, 75mm L/24 and the 75mm Pak 40. However, the rarest variant of all was the type used by the 17th. Panzer Division which replaced the usual turret the 20mm armed SdKfz 123 "Luchs" turret. It has been speculated that up to five were so converted but only one known photograph of this type survives taken when the 17th. Panzer Division surrendered to the Americans in Czechoslovakia in 1945.

    This model represents the Aircraft Fuel Tanker on the chassis of the Opel 3,6-3000(4x2) truck. Also used for refuelling of AFV's, these vehicles were also used as V2 Rocket alcohol fuel tankers.

    Based on the 3ton Opel Blitz Truck, this version consisted of the rear road wheels being replaced by tracks. Over 4,000 were built and used mostly on the Eastern Front, although also seen in the West.

  • Armoured Opel 3t Truck with 20mm Flak30

    Amongst the plethora of vehicles converted to carry weapons for the Wehrmacht was the ubiquitous 3ton Opel Blitz trucks and their Maultier halftrack derivatives. This type had a fully armoured cab and radiator protection and with their varying gun loads were used on both fronts in Europe. The model shown here mounts the 20mm Flak30. We have several sets of Flak crew suitable for this vehicle.
