  • Milicast 1/76 Humber Mk.I/II Scout Car

    The Mk.I and Mk.II Humber Scout Cars were externally identical with a total of 4,300 being built between 1942 and 1945. This high-speed scout car (max.60mph) was used in NW Europe, usually as the liaison vehicle for the HQ units of Armoured Divisions. 

    Our simple 6-piece kit, prepared and built in under 10 minutes, accurately reproduces this superb vehicle in great detail.

  • Otter LRC

    This was the Canadian built version of the Humber III but built using Canadian GM components at their works near Ottawa. From 1942 onwards a total of 1,761 LRC's were produced and were used mainly by the Canadians in Italy and NW Europe but some were also used by British Armoured Car Regiments and also by the RAF Regiments. This model also has interior detail.

  • Staghound Armoured Car Mk.I/II (Optional parts supplied)

    This superb armoured car had a top speed of 55mph and a crew of five. In total 2844 of all variants were built to British specifications by the Americans although it was never used by them but was supplied exclusively to the British who used them in large numbers and in turn supplied them to other Commonwealth forces as well as to the Free Poles and Belgians. Used in Italy and NW Europe they had the American M6 37mm gun but the New Zealanders fitted a 3" howitzer for close support, and this was adopted by the British too. Optional guns are included in the kit.

  • Staghound Armoured Car Mk.III (75mm - Crusader type turret)

    This unusual conversion based on the Staghound Mk. I used a heavily modified Crusader Mk. III turret, mounting a 75mm gun, on an extensively modified chassis with a number of different features making it very distinct from the Mk. I/II version. They were used in NW Europe.

    This conversion consisted of the basic Staghound Mk.I with an open topped Frazer Nash turret, with twin .50cal Machine Guns, on an extensively modified hull.

  • Universal Carrier No.1 Mk.II (WT)(Late w/Deep Wading Brackets)

    This 8 piece model depicts a late welded, water tight Mk.II version of the Universal Carrier that has the upper Deep Wading extensions brackets welded in position. The model also includes complete stowage, a No.19 Radio and tow bracket. jettisoned after arrival in Normandy but still retains

  • Universal Carrier No.1 Mk.II(WT) with Deep Wading equipment.

    This model represents the Universal Carrier Mk.II (WT)(Water Tight) with the Deep Wading screens attatched as they came ashore from LCT's etc., in Normandy and as photographic evidence confirms, were often still seen in place, days after the landings, as additional protection. Illustrated model built and painted by Dan Taylor using DTM Transfers.

    This variant is of the late Mk.II hull with the 3" mortar supplied for either firing from the vehicle or for ground mount and used extensively in NW Europe. We recommend our Figure Set British Infantry (c. '44-'45) Firing 3" Mortar (Ref: FIG077), if using the mortar outside the vehicle.

  • Daimler Mk. I Armoured Car

    Introduced in 1941 and based on the Daimler Scout Car, this was essentially just a larger version. With a 3-man crew, a range of 330km, a top speed of 50mph and armed with a 2pdr.Gun and coaxial Besa 7.92 MG, this was a superb armoured car.

    Superseded by the improved Mk. II, it can be easily distinguished from the latter by the rear deck design and early gun mantlet. They served together with distinction in North Africa, Italy, North-West Europe and the Far East. A combined total of 2,694 of both marks were built during WWII.

    This model represents the improved later Mk. II version which superseded the earlier Mk. I. It differed from the earlier version in having a redesigned Gun Mantlet and rear hull configuration. They served together with distinction in North Africa, Italy, North-West Europe and the Far East. A combined total of 2,694 of both marks were built during WWII.
