150mm sIG 33 Infantry Howitzer
This was the largest calibre weapon designated as an infantry weapon in WWII. Contrary to the '33' nomenclature this weapon was first issued in 1927 and remained in service until 1945 seeing action on every front with the exception of North Africa as it was usually a Horse Drawn Gun. It was also the weapon of choice for SP conversions and was fitted to a number of SPG chassis including the Panzer I, Panzer II, Panzer III, 38(t), Hetzer & Brummbar. Mounted on the Panzer II and on the 38(t) chassis they saw action in North Africa.
