M4A2 Sherman III 75mm (Dry Stowage)(Intermediate Production) as used by US Marines

The M4A2 was the second production type of Sherman built and the only combat diesel engined type used. A total of 8053 were built from April 1942 until December 1943 and went through all the production changes in that time. This model represents a mid- prod. type and in this configuration was used by USMC in the Pacific campaign, however the US Army did not use them.
