Details:
The "Ka-Mi" was intoduced into service in
1942. With a crew of five this Light Amphibious Tank
was based on the Type 95 but with a wholly redesigned
hull and came with two detatchable sponsons.
Photographic
evidence suggests that there was two design types of
sponsons. Our kit reproduces the most commonly seen
type.
When they
came ashore the sponsons would be jettisoned and the
tank then continued as a normal light gun tank.Used
by both the Army and the Marines, they saw considerable
action
This
is a superb model capturing the distinctive shapes of
the sponsons and comes with optional turrets
We
also supply this vehicle without the sponsons as kit
J04. Figures shown on our painted model are from our
Figure Range. See FIG.32.
