Details:
The A7V was the first German tank entering service
in November 1917.
Although
they did not see combat until March 21st. 1918, when
No.506, "Mephisto", and four other A7V's,
attacked Fench lines near St.Quentin. This vehicle was
later captured by the Australians and is the only surviving
example and is still on display in Brisbane.
