Details:
Based on the VK 1301 & 1303 prototypes, approximately
100 were built from late 1942 entering service from
September 1943. This rare AFV saw service on both the
Eastern and Western Fronts.
There are
two known surviving vehicles, which are different from
each other, at the RAC Tank Museum (Bovington) and at
Saumur in France.
Our
model has all hatches open, includind the rear Engine
cover, exposing the engine detail.
