Details:
Only 200 of these rare 50mm Flak guns were built to
fill the flak gap in the sky between highest and lowest
ranges of the 37mm and 88mm Flak guns. However it was
not a particulary good design, even so they continued
in service from early 1941 until wars end and were used
in the ground support role being fitted onto the back
of both the SdKfz 7 Halftrack (see G237) and the Armoured
4.5ton Mercedes Truck (see G238).
The discarded
twin four wheeled Sonder Anhanger 204 carriages went
on to be used as the original carriage for the 88mm
PaK43.

replacement 50mm Brass turned barrel is available as
