This model depicts
the widened and extended chassis version of the Panzer
II so built to accept the 150mm Sig33 Howitzer.
The 12 vehicles
built were sent to North Africa with the DAK and took
part in the battle of Gazala and in all subsequent offences
until the last one was destroyed in early 1943.
Our
model is very comprehensive with engine cover hathes
positioned opened as the vehicles suffered from chronic
over heating and always had these open when in operational
use.
