Details:
These Marks were the last major variants of the Churchill
to be introduced and had a completely new design of
turret and a redesigned hull. The Mk.VII had a 75mm
gun with the Mk.VIII only differing by the substitution
of a 95mm howitzer. The Mk.VII was also chosen for the
Crocodile Flame Thrower version (see UK94).
Entering service in mid 1944, they saw action in NW
Europe and for many years afterwards including the Korean
War.
Our model
comes with optional armament and has all hatches supplied
seperately. The front "Horns" are also supplied
seperately making this model ideal for the diorama bulder. |
