| Details: The lack of a dual purpose
British 75mm gun in the N. African campaign had been a
handicap. But following the successful transfer of a Sherman
gun and mantlet in Tunisia, 120 Mk.IV's were so modified,
and given the designation "NA" for N. Africa.
Introduced in early 1943 and often upgraded with applique
armour, as per our model, they saw action in Sicily and
Italy serving until end of the war. |
