Details:
The A22 Churchill is probably Britains best known tank
with 5,640 built in eleven marks and numerous specialist
variants. This is the most complete kit of this, the
first Churchill, with all of the above Marks capable
of being built from this kit. These types were used
for Home Defence and Training in the UK with some going
to the Soviet Union. Modified for amphibious operations,
they were used at Dieppe (See UK87). Limited numbers,
with alterations, saw action in Tunisia (UK84) and as
seen below also in Italy!.
