Details:
Entering service in March 1942 the Churchill Mk.III
was the first to have the 6pdr. Gun and a new welded
turret. They first saw action in the Dieppe raid and
later, although only as HQ vehicles, at Alamein. They
went on to see wider service throughout the N. African
campaign.
Along with Mk.IV's (UK54), they were also supplied to
the USSR and saw extensive action there too. Modified
they saw action at Dieppe (UK89).
Our kit has the upper track guards and front "horns"
as separate parts to facilitate wider building options. |
