Details: Canada gave great support
to Britain throughout the war and as part of that aid
undertook the building of a Tank Arsenal. Using mainly
M3 components they produced the all cast hull Ram. Pending
the 6pdr. mount becoming available it was decided to fit
the 2pdr. The first 50 vehicles, with side sponson doors,
were designated as the Mk.I. Athough in this format they
did not see action, being used for training in the UK
and Canada, some were stripped and used as Kangaroos.
