Details: This model depicts the
turretless Stuart M3A3, which with its various combinations
of Machine guns on extemporised pintle mounts, was used
by the British and Canadians for reconnaissance in Italy
and NW Europe. In this form it was also used as a gun
tractor for the 17pdr. anti-tank gun.
Our kit contains both an early
and a late pattern of surround for the turret aperture,
both .30 & .50cal M.G.'s, plus many optional stowage
parts including a retractable canvas tilt which photographic
evidence shows was sometimes fitted. |
