Details:
A total of 2,290 of these LRC's were built and although
only intended as light recce vehicles, they saw extensive
service by the Armoured Car units of the RAF, and as
such saw action in both the Middle East and NW Europe.
There is well known photograph of one these small armoured
cars surmounting rubble in Caen during the Normandy
campaign.
