This model
depicts the famous flame thrower tank using converted
Churchill Mk.VII hulls
with an armoured
fuel trailer carrying 400 gallons of fuel.
A flame projector
replaced the hull Besa and was connected to the trailer
via an armoured pipe that ran under the hull the tank
and could fire upto a range of 120 yards.
Entering
service in mid 1944, they saw action in NW Europe and
later in the Korean war.
