Following the
success of the Grant ARV (UK67) it was decided to utilize
unit vehicles as ARV'S and so upgraded early Churchill's
were converted from February 1942 seeing service in
Tunisia, Sicily & Italy before being replaced in
mid 1944 by the custom built Mk.II version (UK86).
