| Details:
This model
represents the Sherman Mk. V Duplex Drive tank some
time after the Normandy landings when there has been
time to remove the propellors and the canvas surround.
Photographic
evidence confirms that after this initial field maintenance,
the metal apron surround was usually retained until
these vehicles could be then be returned to the REME
workshops for full maintenance and repair.
Resultantly
the apron wells were filled with all sorts of acquired
stowage, and we supply a selection of both British &
German fuel cans, crates, ammunition boxes, tarpaulins,
etc., to stow the vehicle according to your own references.
