This model
represents the British version of the largest of the
Infantry Landing Craft, carrying 180 troops, a crew
of 3 Officers and 21 other ranks. Later vessels could
carry 210 troops.
The Royal
Navy versions favoured the lower built Fo'c'sle along
with some other minor variations.
In service
from 1943 onwards they saw action in every amphibious
Allied landing from then until the Korean War.
This
is a superb waterline model built by master model maker
Dan Taylor and measuring 650mm in length.
Our kit comes with a sheet of Brass Frets that includes
gun shields, gun sights, etc., Brass Tube and a set
of optional decals.
Also
available are two sets of Navy crew designed specifically
for this vessel.
