Dating from
1933, this small 3.5 ton, 2 man amphibious tank was
based on a British VCL design and utilizing an improved
suspension based on the French AMR light tank.
It had a road
speed of 40mph and an operating radius of 115 miles.
Armed with one 7.62mm MG they were used in recce units
and continued in service in the early part of WWII being
superceded by the T38 (See Premier R27/Battlefield BR12),
although in practice they often operated together.
