The BA10 was
the most widely used Armour Car used by the Soviet Union
throughout the 1930's and was still in wide use in the
early years of the Great Patriotic War having also seen
action in Finland. It was also used by Republican forces
in the Spanish Civil War.
Precise figures
of armour car production is limited but it is known
that as late as 1941 there was over 4,000 armoured cars
in the Army of the Soviet Union.
Based on the
earlier BA6, it had a redesigned and improved hull and
a new smaller conical turret mounting a 45mm gun and
a 7.62mm MG with another 7.62mm ball mounted MG in the
hull.
Our
model represents a late version and has all the visors
and flaps moulded in the open position and consists
of only 11 parts.
