With over
360 built, this highly effective SP saw service on both
the Eastern Front and in North Africa. These Marder
III's were armed with the captured Russian FK296 Anti-Tank
Gun ( see
R9 ) which was redesigned and rechambered to take
the PaK40 cartridge as the PaK36(r)(see G78
).
This
model consists of just 13 parts:-
Hull
assy, Gun Shield, Shield Stays (2), 76.2mm Gun (with
metal insert), Gun Quadrant, Breach Guard, Gun Travel
Lock, 7.62mm MG, Seats (2) & Seat Backrests (2).
