Introduced
in 1941 this model represents the "Alte" or old version
of this light halftrack series. A total of 4,250 were
built between June 1941 and October 1943 when the "Neu"
(new) version was put into production (see BG58).
Issued to
Panzergrenadier divisions they saw action on all fronts.
