This first
"Drilling" mount was first installed on the earlier
Ausf. C chassis in mid-1944 but was more commonly seen
on the Ausf. D chassis. These anti-aircraft halftracks
were fitted with three 1.5cm heavy machine guns normally
fitted to fighter aircraft and saw action on all fronts.
