Churchill Mk. IXLT
Details:

During the Normandy campaign, the high tank losses sustained by the Allies resulted in the need to get as many replacements into the field as possible. Amongst these replacements were refurbished Churchills of various Marks. The photo shown below illustrates this perfectly.

The Mk.IXLT (Light Turret), sometimes referred to as the Mk.III*, consisted of the Mk.III/IV hull with applique armour but with an upgraded Mk.III turret, also with applique armour, and still retaining the original 6pdr. Gun. They continued in service throughout NW Europe until wars end.

The kit is supplied with optional front horns.
