The A22 Churchill
is probably Britains best known tank with 5,640 built
in eleven marks and numerous specialist variants. These
types were used for Home Defence and Training in the
UK with some going to the Soviet Union. Modified for
amphibious operations, they were used at Dieppe. Limited
numbers, with alterations, saw action in Tunisia and
also in Italy.
The
Mark I variant is illustrated but both the Mk.ICS and
the Mark II can be built from this kit with optional
parts supplied.
