The Sherman
II (M4A1) was one of the smaller number of Shermans
supplied to the British with only 942 supplied.
They were
used on all fronts however and our model represents
one of those commonly seen in Normandy campaign with
the rear track guards cut off and welded onto the rear
decking to facilitate stowage.
