The Cromwell
was numerically the most important British tank of WWII
and our model fully captures this fine 75mm armed tank
with all hatches open and has optional "Normandy
Cowl", "Prong"and turret stowage boxes.
For the Normandy
campaign both Mk. IV, Mk.VIII (95mm variant) and Mk.VII's
with additional armour on the front hull and larger
15.5" tracks, operated together.
Our
kit, based on the "D" hull, represents
the Mk.IV with the narrower 14" tracks and the
early perforated style roadwheels. An optional 95mm
gun is supplied and when fitted the Mk.IV is designated
as a Mk.VI.
