These Anti-Aircraft
tanks although similar to the Crusader AA (see Ref,
BB09) had a completely new design of turret.
The hull also
differed from the tank variant (see BB15) in a number
of ways and had an exhaust fitted on the front LH fender
for the turret motor.
They were
used along side the Crusader AA tanks during the Normandy
campaign where they also saw action as close support
tanks.
