| Details:
The Cromwell
was numerically the most important British tank of WWII
and our model fully captures this fine 75mm armed tank
with all hatches open and has optional "Normandy
Cowl" and "Prong".
For the Normandy
campaign most Mk.VII's had additional armour added to
the front hull and the larger 15.5" tracks.
Our kit,
based on the "D" hull, represents
the late Mk.VII with
15.5" tracks and
applique armour. When
the optional 95mm Howitzer is used then the vehicle
becomes a Mk. VIII.
The
earlier Mk.IV (Mk.VI - 95mm version) with early perforated
style roadwheels and the narrower 14" tracks are
available as kit BB26.
