| Details:
From early
1943 Crusader Mk.III's were withdrawn from front line
duty with many of the hulls being converted for other
uses. Amongst these conversions was this AA tank. There
was no external differences between the Mk.II &
Mk.III versions and they were used along side the Centaur
AA tanks during the Normandy campaign where they also
saw action as close support tanks.
