This model
should by rights be in the British sections for although
830 of these eight (short) ton Light Tanks were built
by the USA between March 1943 and February 1944, they
never saw action with US forces as they did not have
a suitable aircraft to carry it! The British however
did in the shape of the Hamilcar glider, and large numbers
were supplied to the UK were they renamed as the "Locust".
They saw combat when used in the Rhine crossing operation
by 6th Airborne Division on 24th. March 1945.
This
is simple 10 part kit that builds with ease to reproduce
this superb little AFV.
