A total of
1190 of these Heavy Tanks were built between November
1944 and June 1945 but relatively small numbers actually
saw combat.
The first
20 arrived in the ETO in January 1945 and saw action
at the Ramagen Bridge and with their 90mm guns proved
to be a great success. Later they saw action in the
Pacific at Okinawa. In the Korean war they were formidable
in their destruction of T34's.
This is a
large and imposing model reproduction of this, the heaviest
Allied production AFV used of WWII.
